We have been very impressed with what Marvel have managed to do with their cinematic universe over the years, especially when you compare it to everyone else, so we are very excited for what the future holds in the MCU. There are a lot of new characters coming to the big screen and getting their own movie and we cannot wait to see how this impacts the rest of the characters.
One such character, who made his big screen debut in the movie Captain America: Civil War, is Black Panther, who is played by the very talented actor Chadwick Boseman. Many fans are excited to see what the Black Panther movie has to offer, and Chadwick has been talking about what he likes most about his character.
Boseman explained, "The thing that I like the most is him being challenged, taking criticism and finding a way to keep his focus and intent intact despite those criticisms. That’s what world leaders have to do. If you waver too much, if you give things away… sometimes you do have to give things away."
He added, "You might give away something that you intended to give away to make it seem like you’re being accommodating. I think it’s that strategy and strength that I like. It’s not necessarily his physical attributes or anything like that. It’s his mind and being able to maneuver as a leader."
As well as starring Chadwick Boseman, the Black Panther cast also includes Michael B. Jordan, Andy Serkis, Danai Gurira, and Lupita Nyong'o. Black Panther is being directed by Ryan Coogler, with the movie set to hit the big screen on February 16, 2018 in the US and July 6, 2018 in the UK.
