There has been plenty of talk about the possibility of there being a Magic Mike 2 being made and now, Channing Tatum has been giving his views on the movie. Channing says that he is desperate to convince director Steven Soderbergh to return to direct the potential movie sequel.
Tatum was talking to Access Hollywood when he explained, “We have to talk Soderbergh into it. We can't do it without our general. It's scary. I don't know what's going to happen. Hopefully we're gonna go to Miami and do the whole thing.”
There have been a number of rumours floating around about the possible involvement of Steven Soderbergh in the Magic Mike sequel, with one particular report even suggesting that Channing Tatum and writer Reid Carolin would co-direct the project.
Channing Tatum can next be seen on the big screen in the movie Side Effects, which also stars Rooney Mara, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Side Effects is directed by Steven Soderbergh, based on the screenplay written by Scott Z. Burns, and is set to be released on February 8 in the US, before then being released on March 8 in the UK.
