It looks like there seems to be some sort of connection between Hollywood actors Charlie Hunnam and Jamie Dornan, as they continue to get linked to the same movie projects. Those of you who know your movie knowledge will remember that Charlie Hunnam was originally cast in the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, before pulling out of the project and being replaced by Jamie Dornan.
Well it looks like the two stars have been going for the same role once again. Guy Ritchie is making a movie about King Arthur and his knights of the round table and he previously stated that he wanted to cast Jamie Dornan in the lead role of King Arthur. Unfortunately though, due to Jamie's commitments to the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, he is unable to take on the role.
Now though, it has been reported that Charlie Hunnam has become the favourite for the role and is expected to sign on to play King Arthur in the movie. According to the guys over at TheWrap.com, Charlie is in final negotiations for the role, which would see him team up with his Pacific Rim co-star Idris Elba, who has already signed on for the movie.
Charlie Hunnam is preparing for the seventh and final season of the hit television series Sons of Anarchy, which premieres next month. Meanwhile, he has also finished filming his next movie Crimson Peak, which opens on October 16, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
As for the King Arthur movie, Guy Ritchie is hoping to have it ready for release some time in 2016.
