We can all remember when we were younger and there were certain things that we really wanted to buy but they were out of our financial reach. Many of you will remember not being able to afford those new sneakers, while others will remember not having the cash for some cigarettes.
Well, for the artist Jason Ruff it was a bit of both, which has inspired his latest project, as he has created some classic Nike sneakers using cigarette packets. When asked to describe the new creations, Jason explained that they were "mixing the unattainable objects of my youth".
Ruff took the time and patience to cut the many different cigarette packets into shape, before then putting the pieces together with some duct tape. He has now revealed the impressive looking Nike high-tops which many of you will be very impressed by.
While the cigarette packs are the main component of these Nike sneakers, Jason Ruff did also use some pieces of food packaging, as well as the odd bit of board game, some vinyl tape and some straws. The sneakers look brilliant so why not head over to his official website to check them out.
