With the new season of the UK version of the hit television series The X Factor just around the corner, there will be plenty of the usual critics coming out to insist that the show is ruining the music industry by giving us talentless puppets. With that said, you only have to look at the amount of talented and successful singers there are in the music industry these days who made a name for themselves on The X Factor.
One such star is Cher Lloyd, who made the decision to leave the UK and head to the US to try to make a name for herself over there. Since being in the US, Cher has experienced some success and has also managed to work with Demi Lovato, who she spent some time on tour with. Cher has now opened up about touring with Demi, admitting that she had a great time with her.
Lloyd told The Epoch Times, "I went on tour with her, I got a new single with her, I’m featured on her latest single called 'Really Don’t Care', and we just shot the video. I can’t wait for people to see that. She’s fun, really fun. It’s nice to be able to work musically with someone around my age. It’s nice, another girl."
She added, "I wouldn’t say we just 'hang out', but we definitely have a laugh together, you know. We had a great time at the video together and busy being on tour with each other, we’re always doing silly little things. We pulled a few pranks on each other, which was fun."
Cher Lloyd is continuing to work hard at her music and we hope to hear plenty more from her in what could be a very long and successful career.
