Cheryl Cole has spoken out about her relationship with Simon Cowell in a revealing interview on Radio 1.
The Fight For This Love singer sat down for an hour long interview to promote her new single, Call My Name. And she also confirmed the news that Girls Aloud are planning a reunion for their tenth anniversary.
Asked by host Chris Moyles whether or not she and Simon are still friends following her axe from the US X Factor last year, Cheryl replied: "Yes. Well, frenemies." But she jokingly added that had always been the case, saying: "Nothing’s changed there."
Pressed for further details of her brief stint on the show, she said: "If you are asking have I spoken to him since, many times. If you are asking were they interesting conversations, absolutely."
The 28-year-old said that she didn’t rule out working with Simon again in the future, saying: "I haven’t thought about it, I haven’t had time, I’ve been recording an album!"
On the subject of music, Cheryl also confirmed the news that Girls Aloud fans have been waiting for: "It’s our tenth birthday in November – we all want to do something to celebrate it, so watch out!"
With so much going on with her career, Cheryl said that she isn´t looking for love at the moment: "I’m not interested right now. I’ve not got the time!"
