Since Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole left the UK version of the hit reality television series The X Factor, they have had more than their fair shares of ups and downs. The two stars fell out when Simon felt he had to sack Cheryl from the US version of the series but it looks like they have finally fully patched things up and are as close as they have ever been.
We have known for some time now that Simon Cowell will make his long-awaited return to The X Factor judging panel and it is no secret that he has been hoping to persuade Cheryl Cole to join him. Well it has now been confirmed that Cheryl has agreed to return to The X Factor judging panel, with reports claiming that she has signed a £1.5m deal for the new season.
An insider told The Mirror, "The [£1.5 million] deal was done over the weekend. Simon is absolutely delighted to have her back on the judging panel. Simon is delighted that she is back. With him and her on the panel it's a dream ticket. Simon was always very sad about the way things turned out over there and especially the way his relationship disintegrated. Slowly but surely they got things on an even keel and now they are stronger than ever. It was destiny they would be working together again."
While a lot of people are expecting the rest of the panel to be made up of last seasons judges Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger, the two have yet to official sign on for the new season, leaving many to suggest that another new face could be on the verge of joining. What do you thing?
