Both Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore gave little tidbits of information concerning their new film ‘Carrie’ to io9. Moretz talks about shooting the infamous pig blood scene, saying, "It was probably the most fun for about the first two weeks of it, and then after that it was sticky and wet and freezing. But it was amazing. The blood became part of who you are. I got used to coming home every night covered in blood."

Moretz reportedly said that there was 50 different versions of the blood dumping scene, with fire blood, wet blood, and dry blood used at different points.
Julianne Moore also spoke up about the relationship between Carrie and Margaret (who Moore plays), saying, “"The character is rooted in isolation. When she was pregnant, she thought the child was a cancer and delivered alone... The minute Carrie starts moving away from her, she begins to parent her. But it comes from a place love."
Carrie is based on a re-make of the hit film of the same name, based on the novel by Stephen King. Both Moore and Moretz have sounded very excited about the script and movie when speaking about it, so it seems as if it will actually be a solid remake.
