Kick-Ass actress Chloe Moretz takes on one of her biggest roles in the new remake of the hit movie Carrie, which features that iconic blood scene. While talking about the movie, Chloe opened up about that scene and what went in to shooting it.
Moretz explained, "It’s not even the shock. When the blood hits she’s smiling, and she’s so happy. And you know there’s that thing where it’s like when you get slapped in the face? The same expression after you get slapped is still on your face… So that’s what we kind of brought through is like, she’s smiling and as it hits she just sits there and she’s like ‘Oh my God… What just happened?’"
She added, "I didn’t [prepare]. I basically told them like ‘I don’t want to know when it’s gonna happen. I don’t want a ‘3, 2, 1’. I don’t want anything like that. I literally just want to be in the moment, living it… and the blood drops.’"
Carrie was released last month in the US and has now hit the big screen in the UK. The movie has already managed to bag over $35m in the US and that figure will no doubt increase a large amount with the overseas takings.
