The tabloids take any chance they get to set up a non-existent feud between two actresses, even if those actresses haven't even crossed their teen years. According to a recent report from a tabloid, Chloe Grace Moretz was jealous that Quvenzhane Wallis was making so much more than her in terms of salary. Apparently, Chloe was jealous that Quvenzhane was making 750,000 dollars for 'Annie', whereas she only made 500,000 thousand dollars for her last movie.
The tabloids' supposed witness explained, "In a snotty voice, she said that she couldn't believe that a 10-year-old would make more money than her. She sounded like a bratty teenager with an out-of-control ego. There are many actresses who would love to make what Chloë does."
However, sources have already come forward and denied the report, stating that it is unequivocally false. A rep for Chloe told Rumor Fix, "Chloe is not like that. She doesn’t compare herself to other actresses younger, her age or older. She loves other actresses and actors and this business. She thinks there is room for everyone. She is not a mean girl."
Also, considering that Chloe's one of the biggest stars in her age group and also has a steady career, she probably does make way more than 500,000 dollars for her franchise roles. Sure, she probably takes a pay cut for independent films, as do all actors and actresses, but I doubt she was actually paid that little for Kick-Ass 2 or Carrie. Plus, Annie's a studio film and Quvenzhane Wallis is headlining it, so she's understandably making a large salary for the film.
