Actress Chloe Moretz is giving hints in the trailer of her upcoming film "If I Stay" that she has put forth a performance that will be incredibly memorable and emotionally draining for viewers. In the trailer for the film which is generating a signficant amount of reaction throughout the Internet she reads the prologue for the film "If I Stay" from the book of the same name.
The movie is about a young girl, Mia, whose life has been turned upside down after a car accident that she is involved in with her family leaves her in a coma and her parents dead. While in the coma she reaches a point where she has to make a decision about whether she wants to live or die.
If she decides to die and join her parents there is not only no opportunity to come back but she leaves behind her brother and boyfriend. For a young girl who at one time believed her toughest decision would be whether to go to Julliard or take a different direction to be with the love of her life it is a huge change and she lives through this while in a coma.
The reading of the prologue by Chloe Moretz which has her deciding whether to live or die in the trailer is mesmerizing as she is able to force the viewer to put themselves in her situation and think about what they might do at such a young age while in a coma. She shows her dramatic range as she conveys the indecision, the frustration and questions she has as a young woman faced with this life-altering decision as her life flashes in front of her.
