Snow White and the Huntsman actor Chris Hemsworth has opened up about the possibility of appearing in a sequel to the Rupert Sanders movie. It has been claimed that Rupert Sanders will vacate the project and Kristen Stewart will return but Chris has yet to hear anything official.
Talking to Empire Magazine, Hemsworth said, “No one had heard anything official. I haven't actually spoken to anyone from Universal about it. I guess it all depends on whether people want to see another one! I love the character. It changed a lot, and there were a lot of things we lost in the final cut.”
Chris claims that there was more to the back story of his character that the sequel could focus on, “There was a bit more back story that didn't fit in and a bit more of a relationship between them. There was just more to the character I wish we'd hung on to,” he added.
Chris Hemsworth can soon be seen on the big screen in the movie Thor: The Dark World, which also stars Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman and Idris Elba. Thor: The Dark World is directed by Alan Taylor and is set to be released in both the US and the UK on November 8, 2013.
