We have just a few more months to wait until we get to see the third and final Batman movie to feature Christian Bale as the caped crusader and it seems that Christian will be glad to be rid of the pressure. Christian admitted that he felt a great deal of expectation on his shoulders and now that he has finished playing Batman, he feels he can open up about it.
Bale explained, “I can tell you the truth because I'm done with it: I felt immense pressure. And I think it's a good pressure, because you owe it to the films and the people's expectations to make great work." As for the problems with understanding Bane, director Christopher Nolan insists that fans will be extremely entertained by the character.
Nolan said, “I think when people see the film things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film, people will be very entertained by him”. The Dark Knight Rises will see Christian Bale once again joined by Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon and Michael Caine as Alfred. The two new villains are Bane, played by Tom Hardy and Catwoman played by Anne Hathaway. The Dark Knight Rises is released on July 20.
