Fans of the hit television series The Voice were disappointed to learn that Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green would be leaving the show as coaches next season. They have both claimed that they needed to leave the show to focus on the music careers.

Aguilera said, “The thing is that we're all artists at heart. We all know what it is to make records, be passionate. That's why we all can do what we do as good coaches for the show, and we can only be as good as what we put out. As artists... this isn't us being insistent. This is NBC being gracious and allowing us to be complete, total artists.”
Meanwhile, Cee Lo Green also admitted that it was nice to take a break from the show and get back to making music and performing for his fans, “I had a couple of other things that I wanted to be able to do,” added Green
Usher is set to appear on The Voice
Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera have been replaced by Usher and Shakira for the next season of The Voice in the US. It is expected that Usher and Shakira will just be standing in for one season and that Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will return for season five of the show.
