When it was announced that Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green were taking a hiatus from the hit show The Voice, there were concerns that they would not be able to be replaced. However, Usher came in to replace Cee Lo, while Shakira has taken Christina's place on the show.
Now, Christina Aguilera has been talking about the new line up for The Voice, admitting that, while she doesn't have to deal with the pressure of pressing the button for the right people, she does find it strange to see Usher and Shakira on the show.
Aguilera was chatting to Access Hollywood, when she explained, "I was kind of like, 'Wow, this is what's it's like from the audience perspective and I can see why...' I mean, it feels fun and the energy is fun when you're in it, but when you're watching from the outside, it's also like, no pressure for me. No button pressure. So, it's nice."
She added, "It's interesting to see Usher in Cee Lo's chair, and to see Shakira in mine," Aguilera commented. "It's part of the Voice family and I feel their energy. They're leaving it positive."
The Voice also has Blake Shelton and Adam Levine as coaches and airs on Mondays and Tuesdays.
