Singer Christina Aguilera has opened up about motherhood, claiming that she loves her baby more than anything in the world. Christina did not have the happiest of home life and was also bullied when she was younger but she insists that she will not let her four year old son Max go through the same experience.
Aguilera said, “He is my heart, he is my world, he’s just my baby. I am definitely accomplishing that goal thus far. No matter what, I know he is in an environment that makes him very safe.”
She added, “Growing up I did not feel safe. Feeling powerless is the worst feeling in the world. I turned to singing as an outlet. The pain at home is where my love for music came from.”
Christina continued, “That’s why it’s so important for me to write songs like Beautiful and Fighter. On my current record, Lotus is all about being an unbreakable flower that survives the test of time. In the roughest of surroundings and harshest weather conditions it thrives.”
Christina Aguilera is leaving her post as a coach on the television show The Voice, as she bids to focus on her music career for a while, before returning to the show in 2014.
