It was revealed earlier this year that Christina Aguilera would be taking a break from the hit television show The Voice. Christina is set to go on tour with her new album Lotus and claims that, by doing so, she will become a much better coach in the long run.

Aguilera explained to Parade, “In order to be great coaches, we have to create great music and be current artists. I needed a break to be out there doing what I love. It only makes me fresh for when I return.”
Christina then went on to admit that she was going to really miss all of her fellow The Voice coaches, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green. She claims that the four of them have become like family to each other and always manage to have fun together.

She added, “They are the big brothers I always wanted," she declared, adding: "Blake [Shelton] is the protective one, Cee Lo [Green] is the fun one, and Adam [Levine] and I are the most similar, so we bicker the most, but we all have so much respect and love.”
The Voice currently airs on NBC every Monday and Tuesday.
