Christina Hendricks has been a busy women lately. In addition to promoting the sixth season of Mad Men, she has just signed with ICM to shepherd her burgeoning film career.
Hendricks most recently appeared at the premiere of the 6th season of Mad Men at the DGA theater in LA on Wednesday. She has also been featured in several magazines for promotion, including People magazine.
Hendricks maintains her usual down-to-earth manner in the People interview, and discusses her last fan encounter, explaining, "I was at Disneyland last week. They take those photos of you screaming on a roller coaster, then post them at the end. Someone went up and took a picture of mine looking absolutely ridiculous with my hair in the air. I was like, "Oh, no! That's so awkward!"
Various promotional images of Hendricks' character Joan Harris have also been released, featuring the stylized clothing of that era and showing off her curves. Season 6 of Mad Men is currently set to debut April 7th, but that's not all Hendricks has to look forward to. She will soon go into pre-production for Ryan Gosling's 'How To Catch a Monster', and has just signed with ICM as her film career starts to take it off.
