Over the past few years we have been treated to a whole host of top television shows, which have caught the imagination of the viewers and have gone on to become very big shows around the world. While some of these hit television series try to milk things for all they can, letting the show, the actors and the fans down by losing what made it so special, there are others shows that decide to end things while at the top.
One such show, which is preparing for the premiere of its seventh season next month, is the hit series Mad Men, which has made household names of a number of the stars involved. Talented and beautiful actress Christina Hendricks, who plays the role of Joan Holloway in Mad Men, is one of those stars and she has opened up about Mad Men coming to an end, admitting that she is not ready for it and is sad that it is happening.
Hendricks was having a little chat with the guys over at People, when she explained to them, "It's scary. But we had a really good run. You want to quit when you're still on top. I think [series creator] Matt [Weiner] is ready to move on. It's going to be hard … I don't feel ready."
The Mad Men season seven premiere will air on April 13 but fans of Christina Hendricks will still get to see plenty more of the actress in the coming years, as she has a number of projects lined up for the future. Christina will appear in the Ryan Gosling directorial debut movie How to Catch a Monster, which is expected to hit the big screen later in the year.
