Things have not been going too great for American Football star Tim Tebow recently, after he was released by the New York Jets last month. Tim has struggled to find a new NFL team, with no offers coming his way, leaving him to consider a move to the CFL.

Chuck Norris in his prime
However, movie legend Chuck Norris insists that Tim should hold out for an NFL team, as that is where he belongs. While writing his guest column, Chuck paid Tim Tebow the ultimate compliment, by saying how Tim reminded him of himself.
Norris wrote, "Tebow is a player who rises to the occasion and delivers big in critical moments. He reminds me of myself when I used to compete in martial arts. I would spar with my black belts in class, and sometimes they would outscore me. Yet in the tournaments, I would defeat them."

He added, "My students used to ask me, 'Why is it that we can contend equally against you in class but can't beat you in the tournaments?' My answer was always the same: 'When it counts, I rise to the occasion.' I never have seen a more determined or inspiring athlete to play the game of football."
Do you think Tim Tebow is still NFL material?
