My So-Called Life actress Claire Danes has revealed that she prefers to watch the UK reality series, The Only Way Is Essex over the US reality series, Jersey Shore. Claire admitted that she thinks that The Only Way Is Essex is awesome and that she believes it is so much better than Jersey Shore. Claire claims that she likes the show, as she can relate to the humour used on it.
Danes explained, "It's on Hulu [streaming website] and if you take anything from this conversation it should be that. They're definitely tacky and a little, I don't know, maybe morally questionable, but they all have a kind of charm, too, and a sense of humour that I just really appreciate. They're very amusing people."
Claire Danes recently revealed how she found Tel Aviv to be one of the biggest party towns she has ever visited, after she had to go to Israel to film some scenes for her new TV show Homeland. Homeland premiered in the US on Showtime earlier this year and has been renewed for a second season, which is expected to begin production in 2012. Homeland will air in Channel 4 in the UK next year.
