Romeo & Juliet actress Claire Danes has revealed how she has always had an interest in painting ever since she was a young girl and admits that she would probably have become a painter if she were not an actress. Claire even suggested that she might take up painting again in the future, once she has slowed down her acting career.
Danes explained, “I probably would paint before I would direct. My parents were visual artist so I grew up drawing and I've been dancing again the last four years. I can return to that in time and I have much more control over that. I knew that I was young and hadn't really explored all of my interests as fully as possible, so I wasn't entirely sure if I was acting out of habit or real desire, and sure enough the latter proved to be true.”
She concluded, “But I just feel safer now, being certain of that.” Claire Danes has been impressive in her performances of the hit television show Homeland, which has been picked up for a second season. Homeland season two is set to premiere on Showtime in October of this year.
