Hollywood actress Claire Danes has opened up about her 6-week-old son Cyrus Michael Christopher, saying that he is starting to put on weight. Claire also admitted that Cyrus was beginning to actually recognise her, which she says makes her feel amazing.
Danes told E!, “He's six weeks and getting fat. It's very exciting. All that time on the boob is starting to result in growth. He's getting rolls ... thank goodness they've arrived. He's starting to smile a little bit and he kind of knows I exist. That's reassuring – that feedback is amazing.”
She also admitted that her marriage to Hugh Dancy is a big help in separating her real life from her acting world, “I'm able to disassociate. There are all these unconscious rituals that help me engage and disengage – like taking my wedding ring on and off helps free me up. I wouldn't be able to sustain it otherwise,” she added.
Claire Danes was also celebrating after winning the best actor in a TV series – drama for her role as Carrie Mathison, a Central Intelligence Agency officer, in the television series Homeland, at the SAG Awards at the weekend.
