Chris Martin, the frontman for the band Coldplay, has revealed how he, and the rest of the band, are not expecting to win any awards at this year’s Brit Awards. Coldplay have been nominated for the two awards of Best British Group and Mastercard Best British Album of the Year, which Chris Martin believes will got to Adele.
Martin explained, "Unless Adele somehow deletes her albums, I think we can come to the conclusion that we won't win anything. I'm pretty sure of it. We haven't done a red carpet for a long time. We love these things (award shows) but red carpets are more for nice ladies. We look like the cleaners coming in to vacuum up!"
He added, "You can be one of those artists that don't really care about them or you can, like us, love it, and we're always so grateful to be included. It's a kind of Olympics for a band; it's nice to win a medal." Coldplay are all set to perform at the Brit Awards, which will be taking place in London at the O2 Arena on February 21. We have to agree with Chris Martin, it looks like Adele will clean up again.
