Falling Skies actor Connor Jessup is one of the rising stars of the acting industry. The young and talented Canadian star plays the role of Ben Mason in the hit television series Falling Skies and he has opened up about shooting action scenes, saying that it is not as easy as it often looks.
Connor explained, "I have to totally respect [action stars] because they make it look easy to maintain a character while doing crazy, crazy stuff. I'm not a naturally graceful or agile person, as anyone who knows me will tell you. So to do it is one thing, but to do it and stay in character is hard."
Jessup then went on to talk about a particular scene from Falling Skies season two, where he has to jump out of a window and grab his knife, "But in reality I'm grabbing the wire because I'm so afraid I'm going to die. So they had to do like movie magic to make it look like I wasn't grabbing the wire," he added.
Connor Jessup stars with Moon Bloodgood, Seychelle Gabriel and Sarah Carter in Falling Skies, which is now in its third season. Falling Skies season three airs on TNT on Sunday evenings, with the next episode coming on Sunday, June 30.
