There have been talks of an Ant-Man movie for many years now but, just as we get close to the movie being made, there have been a number of set backs. Fortunately though, it looks like Marvel have finally managed to get everything to the place where they want it and the Ant-Man movie is actually beginning to take shape.
There were a lot of rumours about the role that actor Corey Stoll would play in Ant-Man, before it was finally confirmed that he was playing the role of Yellowjacket. Corey has now been talking about his role in Ant-Man, describing what his Yellowjacket costume will be like, admitting that he is very excited about the project.
Stoll was chatting to the guys over at Nerd Repository, when he explained, "I’ve had several costume fittings and it’s looking amazing. It’s still in flux, they’re still figuring out exactly how it’s going to look, but it’s going to be awesome. In the comic books, Yellowjacket was an incarnation of Henry Pym, and he sort of did some ethically duteous things as Yellowjacket."
He added, "In this story, Darren Cross, who was in the comic books but was not Yellowjacket in the comic books, he has a suit that is sort of the next generation of Ant-Man’s suit. It can do everything that Ant-Man can do, but more. It’s more badass, more militaristic, sleeker… sort of like if Apple had designed a battle suit. I just think the battles and the stuff that we're going to do is gonna be so cool."
Ant-Man will open on July 17, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
