While it is still expected that we will see current 007 star Daniel Craig appearing in a few more James Bond movie to come, that has not stopped people from talking about which actor should take over the role when he does eventually step down. Many people have suggested that we could get a black James Bond in the near future, with a number of names being mentioned so far.
Michael Jai White is a talented actor

There have been a lot of people campaigning for British actor Idris Elba to become the first black James Bond for a number of years now, with the actor himself even seeming interested in possibly taking on the role. Meanwhile, some people have suggested that Colin Salmon would be perfect to play James Bond in the future, but there is also another black actor who could take on the role.

Yes James Bond is a British character and fans will no doubt want a British actor to play the role but we feel that American actor Michael Jai White has what it takes to become the first black James Bond. Michael has the good looks, the ability to charm, the physique and the acting ability to become a convincing 007, with the only question mark being his British accent.

With that said, there are plenty of brilliant vocal, accent and dialect coaches out there who could help perfect the English sound of Michael Jai White, should he ever land the role. As we already mentioned, Daniel Craig will continue on as James Bond for the next few films and by then there could be other ideas for the character. We will just have to wait and see.
