Hollywood heart-throb Zac Efron rose to stardom by playing the role of Troy Bolton in the hit Disney movie franchise High School Musical and, while filming the movies he embarked on a romance with his co-star Vanessa Hudgens. Unfortunately, this romance went the way of many a Hollywood romance, with the two stars splitting up not long after the third movie was released.

Since Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens split up, fans of the two stars have been calling for the couple to get back together, which seems highly unlikely now, while others have begged for a new High School Musical movie to get made, which also seems unlikely considering the age of the stars now. However, there could well be a different way to get Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron back together on-screen.
It was recently announced that Vanessa Hudgens will be taking on the role of Rizzo in the Fox live musical production of Grease, which will also see Julianne Hough taking on the female lead of Sandy. However, there has not yet been any official news as to who the male stars will be in the project, which means that there is room for Zac Efron to take on one of the roles.

Again though, it does seem highly unlikely to us that this will actually happen and it is complete wishful thinking on our part but how amazing would it be to see Zac Efron playing Kenickie to Vanessa Hudgens Rizzo. We think we would probably pass out with excitement!
