Courtney Stodden certainly has high standards, doesn't she? It's not enough that she has to try to squirm herself into tabloids by wearing skin-bearing costumes and hosting impromptu photoshoots, but now she's trying to name drop Britney Spears and Cher in a big to stay relevant.

In an interview with Rumor Fix, Stodden first explains why she compares herself to Marilyn Monroe, saying, "I look back to the pin-up days, to Jayne Mansfield, Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn Monroe and those beautiful, iconic women. So I want to be iconic, you know, and I feel like I am. Those women were old souls, and I feel like I can connect with them. We’re both old souls and we’re having fun, and being glamorous and flirty."
When asked about whose voice she would compare her own to, she says, "I would say Britney Spears maybe. I mean my voice is kind of like Cher believe it or not. One of these days I’m going to record a song that really shows my talent."

She adds that she wants to sing with Britney Spears and Maroon 5 when she gets the chance, and hopes to record new music within the next year. Her most recent single, Reality, was posted to Youtube on February 12th, and while it's not as cringe worthy as some other music on Youtube, it's hardly the caliber of Britney Spears and Maroon 5. Stodden really needs to get her head out of the clouds and realize that she's famous because of her reality TV stunts, not her so-called musical 'talent'.
