Over the years we have seen Spanish giants Real Madrid buying a number of different players from the English Premier League, spending hundreds of millions of pounds in the process. In recent years, Real Madrid have signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United for a fee in the region of £80m, while they also purchased Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur for £85.3m.
Now it looks like Real Madrid are set to return to the English Premier League this Summer, where they are looking to spend even more money on some of the top young talent that is on offer. One of the hottest young prospects in the English Premier League right now is Southampton's teenage left back Luke Shaw, who has a whole host top of clubs after him.
The more people talk about Luke Shaw, the more his value will increase and it is currently believed that Real Madrid will have to spend around £25m to land the youngster. It is not a done and dusted deal yet though, as Real Madrid will face stiff competition for the signing of Luke Shaw, with Manchester United currently believed to be the favourites to sign him.
Real Madrid have been enjoying a promising season so far but hd a minor setback recently when they were beat 4-3 by Barcelona. During a recent interview, Cristiano Ronaldo claimed that people did not want to see Real Madrid win the league and that referees were being made to give decisions against them in a bid to stop their title charge.
Who do you think Luke Shaw will join in the Summer?
