Academy Award winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. won his Oscar for his performance in the 1996 movie Jerry Maguire, alongside Tom Cruise and has revealed how the sexuality of Tom Cruise came into question on set. Cuba revealed how his father came onto the set of Jerry Maguire and openly asked Tom Cruise if he was gay.
Gooding Jr., explained, "He gave Tom a hug and said, 'I love you man. Now seriously, are you gay or not?'…I almost fainted. And thought, please Lord, let me disappear. Tom just laughed and said 'no'." He also discussed how he is often approached by random strangers in the street who ask him to say that famous line from the movie “Show me the money”.
He added, "I doesn't go away. I get it all the time. I wish I had a wand that would make people disappear whenever they say it. it's hard, especially when some drunk in a bar asks and finally you say it and he says, 'No, say it like you said it in the movie'." Cuba Gooding Jr.
