British beauty Daisy Ridley has gone from a relatively unknown name in the acting industry, to becoming one of the most recognisable faces in the world, thanks to landing the role of Rey in the hit movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Rey is now the new face of the franchise and Daisy will return to the role for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as well as Star Wars: Episode IX, to complete this new Star Wars trilogy.
We are just a couple of months away from finally getting the next instalment of this new Star Wars trilogy, and there have been a lot of rumours about what we can expect to see happen to Rey in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Now, actress Daisy Ridley has been talking about working on the new film and Daisy has admitted that, while she already knew about the past of her character, she is still amazed with the job Rian Johnson has done with the movie.
Ridley was recently chatting to the guys over at Yahoo Japan, when she explained to them, "Whatever the answer is, I hope everyone will enjoy that moment. I knew the answer a few years ago, but the story that Rian Johnson created was so wonderful I couldn’t believe it, honestly I was very moved. I think that everyone will be in that moment."
There have been many different fan theories about what we can expect with Rey in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and we cannot wait to see exactly what we do finally get. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will open on December 14 in the UK and December 15 in the US.
