Earlier this week the official Star Wars: Episode VII cast was revealed and now that we finally know exactly who we are going to see starring in the movie, the rumours have now turned to which characters these stars will play in the film. We a new Star Wars: Episode VII announcement expected on May 4, we may well just find out in the next few days.
However, that has not stopped the rumour mill from working over time and there have already been plenty of suggestions as to which characters the new Star Wars actors will play in the movie. British actress Daisy Ridley was a relatively unknown actress until the announcement earlier this week and now she is one of the most talked about actresses on the planet.
Daisy Ridley is one of the new faces that we will see in Star Wars: Episode VII and there have already been rumours surrounding the actress and the character she might play in the film. Those of you who have been paying close attention will have seen the new photo of the cast all sitting together, which shows Daisy Ridley sitting in between Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher, who play Han Solo and Princess Leia in the movies.
With Star Wars: Episode VII expected to focus on the children of the original trio, it has now been rumoured that Daisy Ridley will play the role of Jaina Solo, the daughter of Princess Leia and Han Solo. If this is the case then we will get to see just how good an American accent Daisy Ridley can do. Let's hope it's a good one.
With that said, there have been plenty of other rumours about who Daisy Ridley will play in Star Wars: Episode VII, with others suggesting that Obi Wan Kenobi had a secret daughter, which would mean Daisy sticking with her English accent. We guess we will just have to wait and see.
Star Wars: Episode VII will open on December 18, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
