It’s a well known fact that Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart became best friends while filming ‘The Runaways’ together, and even now, they still keep in close touch.
Dakota, in a new interview with Glamour Magazine, opens up about her ‘famous’ friend, Kristen Stewart. She says, “When we're together, we're not talking about movie stuff. She's just my really good friend, you know? We go out. We stay in a lot too. I'm a homebody!”
She also talks about her little sister, Elle, and what she’s taught her, saying, “She’s very uninhibited and will try pretty much anything. Even the way she dresses— she dresses totally for herself. She risks being made fun of…by me, which I sometimes do, because I’m an older sister! But I totally admire her and think she’s very cool.”
Of course, she also discusses the banned Marc Jacobs perfume ad that gained a ton of controversy early last year, and she says, “If you want to read something into a perfume bottle, then I guess you can. But it’s also like, Why are you making it about that, you creep? I love Marc and trust him, and we just laughed about it.” Dakota’s not one to care about controversy, as she appears topless in her new film, ‘Very Good Girls’, co-starring Elizabeth Olsen. It debuted to strong reviews at the Sundance Film festival, but Dakota’s appearance caused a stir among some of the viewers. She doesn’t care, and when it’s brought up, her response is ‘Deal with it’. A refreshing way for a child star to behave, but one wouldn’t expect anything else from Miss Fanning.
