When you are a talented and successful star in Hollywood, it is no surprise that you get recognised by people in the street on a regular basis, which you would expect would become a part of your life after a while. However, while some stars accept their fame and act accordingly, there are others who still get surprised by being stopped by fans who have recognised them.
Hollywood actress Dakota Fanning has been in the movie making business since she was just a very young girl, going on to enjoy a hugely successful acting career over the years. Dakota has now opened up about being a famous movie star, admitting that she still does not see herself as being and famous and still gets very surprised when people recognise her and approach her.
Fanning was chatting to screen writer and director Naomi Foner for an interview with New York Daily News, when she said, "Yeah, it’s always odd for people to recognise me. When people come up to me and say, 'Hey, how are you?!,' I think, oh my God, I must know them from somewhere! So I’m like, 'Hi, I’m good!' Even though it’s been happening for a long time, my go-to response is never, 'Ohh , they recognise me!"
As far as her movie career is concerned, Dakota Fanning will appear in the upcoming movie The Last of Robin Hood, which co-stars Susan Sarandon, Kevin Kline, and Sean Flynn, among others. The Last of Robin Hood is directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland, who both worked on the screenplay together, with the movie set to open on August 29.
