It seems to be a day of talking about the Beauty and the Beast movie, with the stars of the film all coming out in force and all being willing to talk about some of the top points of the project. Dan Stevens stars as the Beast in this new live action version, and Dan has revealed how impressed he was with the CGI that was used in order to bring his character to life.

Stevens said, "Very often it's just a thought or a feeling or something that you're trying to communicate through the Beast. The technology we used has brought such incredible sensitivity to the facial expressions of the Beast, I'm delighted. I can't believe what they've managed to do. The way fairy tales have embraced this technology, and vice-versa, is amazing."
As well as being very impressed with the CGI that they used to bring the Beast to life in Beauty and the Beast, Dan Stevens also revealed one of the main reasons that he wanted to do such a great job on the project. Dan has two young children and he wanted to make sure that this version of Beauty and the Beast would be up there with the animated movie, which his kids already love.

He said: "For my kids, this is going to be their definitive version of 'Beauty and the Beast'. They do love the animated version, but they loved coming on this set and they've loved watching this movie. It's pretty strange for them to watch daddy as the Beast."
Fans do not have to wait too much longer for Beauty and the Beast, which opens on March 17.
