There have been a lot of names linked to the role of Harry Osborn for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and one of those names is Chronicle actor Dane DeHaan. Dane has now admitted that he would love to be involved in the sequel, although he would not say whether he has auditioned or not.
DeHaan Crave Online, “You know, I would love to be in Spider-Man. I have a lot of respect for Andrew Garfield as a person and an artist and a lot of respect for Marc Webb as a person and an artist. If that opportunity were to come along, I would be really flattered and humbled to be a part of it. But that’s about it for now I guess.”
He added, “Well, I know there’s a lot of names being tossed around and rumours and stuff, but again, it’s a project I would love to do and if the opportunity would come along, I would love to do it. Until then, I don't think it’s worth speculating or creating rumours.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will see the return of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. It has also been reported that Shailene Woodley will join the cast as Mary Jane Watson and Jamie Foxx will play Electro. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released on May 2, 2014.
