When it comes to talking about motor sport, we all usually just focus on the men who are making all the headlines in the sport, especially when it comes to IndyCar. This is because there have not been that many female racers making it big in the sport, although there has been the occasional exception to the rule.
One woman, who has made a name for herself as being one of the most successful female drivers in the history of IndyCar, is the beautiful and talented Danica Patrick. Unfortunately Danica made the decision to walk away from the sport to focus on other projects and she has spoken about the possibility of making an IndyCar return in the future.
Patrick explained, "I think the further I get away from when I ran full-time IndyCar, the further away I get from wanting to do it. Because I had such great memories from the Indy 500, and I had such great races and I would never want anything to take away from that and I would never want to be one of those people who retires and comes back and is not the same. So if I don't have an opportunity to win, I won't do it." ""
Danica Patrick made the move from IndyCar to NASCAR, where she drives for the Stewart-Haas team, but things have not gone too well for her. Danica became the butt of many jokes at the NASCAR awards bash in December, which has not gone down well with her fans. We hope to see Danica Patrick get back to her best, mixing it up with the best in the business.
