Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is not an actor who is afraid to show a bit of male nudity, as his track record shows with the West End play Equus. Now it appears that Daniel is going to have to get his kit off again, as he prepares for his latest role in the movie Kill Your Darlings. Daniel admitted that he was fine with doing it, as he is comfortable with how his body looks, although he did admit that he does not compare to the muscular physique of his Harry Potter co star Rupert Grint.
Radcliffe explained, "I'm comfortable with my body. It's funny, actually, I've just been having a discussion with the guy who's directing my new project. It might have a bit of nudity and he said: 'Just to let you know, if you're getting naked, no landscaping of any kind. This is the 1940s and you're playing a Jew.'”
He added, "I was like, 'Pretty much there anyway, mate! Not a huge amount of maintenance going on.' I mean, there's a little bit, obviously, for courtesy. This is way too much information, but I don't like girls with nothing down there either. It freaks me out. You have to have something, otherwise it's f****** creepy."
Daniel concluded, "I'm not going to try to compete with Rupert on the arms front. His dad is a big guy, so if anyone was going to get the proper muscleman build, it was Rupert. You'd have to search pretty hard to find a more handsome ginger. He's also a dude. I wish I could be that calm. I'm lucky to have found an industry where this level of hyperactivity is encouraged. Otherwise I'd just be a f****** nuisance!" Daniel Radcliffe can next be seen on the big screen in The Woman in Black, which is released on February 3.
