While Marvel have been enjoying a lot of success with a lot of their top characters on the big screen, there is one Marvel character that has continually struggled to have a positive impact on the comic book fans. We have seen two Hulk movies in recent years but both films failed to live up to the huge expectations that the fans had.
However, Marvel refused to give up on the character and came up with a new actor to play Hulk and a new way to bring him to the big screen for the hit movie The Avengers. Motion capture was used with The Hulk for the first time in The Avengers and it was considered a huge success, with fans also praising the performance of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner.
There has since been calls for a new Hulk standalone movie and it looks like these calls have been answered, as a new Hulk standalone movie, starring Mark Ruffalo in the lead role, has been given the go ahead. Not only that, but casting for the new Hulk film has already got underway with the Betty Ross actress already being confirmed.
It has been revealed that the talented and beautiful NCIS: Los Angeles actress Daniela Ruah has been cast in the role of Betty Ross for the new Hulk standalone movie. Daniela follows in the footsteps of Jennifer Connelly and Liv Tyler, who have both played Betty Ross in the past. We think Daniela Ruah will make a great Betty Ross and cannot wait to see the new Hulk standalone movie hit the big screen.
