When a show becomes hugely popular and very successful, it does not take long before a decision is made for a spinoff series to get made, in a bid to make the most of that success. If the spinoff series is then a huge success in its own right, then there is also the possibility that we can get another spinoff series, which is exactly what has happened with the hit series NCIS.
Over the years we have seen NCIS give us a few different spinoff series, including the hit show NCIS: Los Angeles, which is preparing for its sixth season later in the year. Actress Daniela Ruah plays the role of Kensi Blye in the series and she has spoken about what to expect from relationships in NCIS: Los Angeles season six.
Ruah was chatting to the guys over at E! News, when she explained, "There’s a lot of love between these characters, whether they’ve established it as being a romantic love or sexual tension or friendship or brotherly and sisterly love … There’s obviously a really strong connection between these characters and we’ll have to keep watching the build or destruction of the relationship."
While this does sound quite interesting and also rather exciting, some fans have voiced their concerns that the relationship between Kensi and Deeks runs the risk of becoming just like that of Ziva and Tony in NCIS. We guess we will just have to wait and see. Fans will be excited to know that NCIS: Los Angeles season six will premiere on CBS on Monday, September 29 at 10/9c.
