When you think of the movie industry and you cast your mind to the horror movies of the past, there is one particular horror movie character who has become one of the most iconic characters in cinema history. Yes, you guessed it, the one and only Freddy Kruger, from the classic Nightmare on Elm Street movies, played by the legendary actor Robert Englund.
Meanwhile, actor Danny Trejo has developed a huge cult following over the years, thanks in part to his performances in the Machete movies, among other impressive projects. With Danny Trejo and Robert Englund having such an impressive following around the world, it can only be a good thing that these two will appear on the big screen together.
Robert Englund and Danny Trejo are preparing to start shooting the new horror movie Death House together, which has us very excited indeed. While we do not know much about the project, Death House has been officially described as "A secret government facility becomes ground zero for the most horrific prison break in the history of mankind."
As well as seeing Danny Trejo and Robert Englund in the cast, Death House also boasts plenty of other top horror movie names including, Dee Wallace, Kane Hodder, Doug Bradley, Michael Berryman, Barbara Crampton, Ken Foree, Bill Moseley, Camille Keaton and Don Shanks. Meanwhile, the script was penned by Gunnar Hansen, who played the original leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but unfortunately passed away last November.
Death House is set to get directed by Harrison Smith, who has been involved in plenty of horror movies over the years, with this new film hoping to get a 2017 release date.
