Former England international David Beckham has returned to his homeland to train with Arsenal. After his deal with LA Galaxy has expired Becks quickly made a decision to return to England and picked Arsenal to train with the club until he decides what do in the future.
The 37-year old was seen at Arsenal's state-of-the-art Hertfordshire training HQ this morning and is determined to prove he can still play at the highest level. With his LA Galaxy contract expiring Beckham has no ties and is free to sign wherever he wants.
An Arsenal insider said: “Beckham wanted this all kept hush-hush. You have to wonder why?”
Interest in the midfielder is high as big spending clubs like Paris-Saint-German and Italian giants Milan, where he spent his previous two loan spells, are willing to offer him deals. Premier League clubs such as QPR and West Ham United have also showed interest in signing him earlier this season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would love to see Beckham join his squad as he believes he could be a good influence and role model to his younger players.
Beckham has quickly settled into life in London as his three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, have all started playing in Chelsea’s youth system within the past week.
