Baywatch legend David Hasselhoff has confirmed that he is looking to buy the rights to the hit 80s television show Knight Rider and he has some interesting ideas for it. David is believed to be looking at getting in The X Factor mogul Simon Cowell to voice the car KITT.
Hasselhoff said of a possible return to the famous Michael Knight character, "It's a great show, it was a fun show. I've got quite a few quid to buy the rights so we'll see what happens. My dad still calls me Michael, because of Michael Knight. A lot of people do - I even used to be Michael Knight on my answering machine."
David Hasselhoff and Simon Cowell have worked together in the past on the hit US reality television show America's Got Talent, where they were both judges. It is also believed that the two have remained friends and David will be doing his utmost to get Simon on board.
