Manchester United manager David Moyes has not exactly had the best start to his career at Old Trafford but anyone who knows anything about football will tell you that this season was always going to be a difficult one, as the club went through a transitional period. With that said, nobody expected to see Manchester United playing this poor but some of that responsibility has to lie with the players.
Nemanja Vidic is on his way out

One player in particular, who has failed to perform to his ability of old this season, is centre back Nemanja Vidic who has been less than average at times during this campaign. Nemanja Vidic has been a good servant for Manchester United over the years but is leaving the club to join Inter Milan in the Summer and, while David Moyes would like to keep hold of his senior players, this could actually work out for the best for all involved.

Over the course of the past couple of seasons, Nemanja Vidic looks to have lost his edge and has certainly lost most of his pace. David Moyes will want to bring in a quick, strong defender to replace him and help ease Manchester United's defensive problems that have haunted them all season. Meanwhile, the Italian league is much slower than the English league, so Nemanja's lost pace will not be as noticeable at Inter Milan.
Could these both be at Inter Milan next season?

With Patrice Evra also not looking the same player as he once was and also talking of joining Inter Milan in the Summer, there is no doubt that we will see David Moyes spending a large amount of money on defenders in the Summer.
