We have seen so many hugely talented young stars coming through the Disney talent machine over the years, with many of them going on to enjoy long and successful careers, proving themselves to be among the biggest and best stars on the planet. The next one to take the world by storm, looks set to be the actress Debby Ryan, who is preparing to cut her Disney apron strings.
Debby Ryan has starred as Jessie for a few years
Debby Ryan has been appearing in Disney shows for a number of years now and landed her very own Disney Original Series back in 2011, playing the lead role in Jessie. Well, after four years of playing the character, Debby has decided to call time on her Disney career, planning to move on to some other challenges and projects in her life.
Earlier this month, Debby Ryan completed shooting her scenes for the fourth and final season of Jessie, which is currently airing on the Disney Channel. While many of the other stars involved in the show are set to return for the planned Jessie spin-off series, Debby has made it clear that she will not be involved, as she plans to spend the next year or so working on her music.
Debby Ryan is moving on
There have been talks that we could see Debby Ryan returning to play Jessie at some point in the future, in a guest appearance for a Disney show but, with her music career set to take off, we cannot see the star wanting to take the backwards step. We have high hopes for the future of Debby and, while she owes an awful lot to Disney, it is time to say farewell.
