Singer and X Factor judge Demi Lovato has been showing off her cast and crutches recently and now she has revealed how she got into that state. Demi says that she broke her ankle as she prepared to watch the Oscar nominated movie Silver Linings Playbook

Lovato was talking to Ryan Seacrest, when she told him, “[My roommate] did the whole floor [with Pledge]. I had this screener for 'Silver Linings Playbook.' I went to sit down. I got up for a Popsicle I came back and I slipped and fell. And it just snapped.”
As for her future on The X Factor USA, Demi says she is not sure if she will return but, if she does, she will not go easy on Simon Cowell, “I'm kind of fearless and I'm from Texas. I say what's on my mind and I can't really hide. It's a perfect combination like me [and him]. He loves it,” she added.

While Demi Lovato is unsure of her X Factor USA future, what we do know is that there will definitely be two new judges next season, to replace the outgoing Britney Spears and LA Reid. There have been plenty of rumours about who the new judges could be, with Cheryl Cole almost certain to return.
