Vulnerable X Factor judge Demi Lovato's friends and family are reportedly terrified that show boss Simon Cowell - dubbed 'Mr Nasty,' - is going to drive her back to drugs and alcohol.
While Simon and Demi have been seen enjoying some playful banter since the twenty year old former Disney star joined the talent show in May, sources say that close friends and family of Demi are worried that Simon is going to come down harder on her as the season progresses. And when he does, they're concerned it will send her into a relapse.
Demi recently said of Simon: 'I always have my wall up when it comes to him. I'm like, 'you're nice right now, but I know what's coming'.'
Demi has previously said that she believes the bullying she suffered in middle school was partly responsible for her struggles with eating disorders, drugs, alcohol and self harming. She finally went through rehab two years ago when she hit rock bottom by fighting with a dancer while touring with the Jonas Brothers.
Demi has so far been a hit on the show, so we hope Mr Nasty doesn't scare her away!
