Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher could get back together, if reports that have sufaced today are to be believed.
The estranged couple reportedly came face-to-face at a friend's birthday party this week and witnesses say they were "extremely affectionate" towards each other.
Attending the 40th birthday do for Kaballah Rabbi Yehuda Berg, who officiated at their wedding, Demi and Ashton reportedly chatted and embraced, and sources even went as far as to say the divorce could be off.
An insider told the Sunday Mirror: "They are still desperately in love and could be on for a reconciliation. The divorce isn't being processed right now."
During the week, Demi made a tweet by singer Wiz Khalifa a 'favourite' prompting speculation that she may be having second thoughts about the split. Wiz tweeted: "We all make mistakes. Don't let that be the reason you give up on somebody."
The actress also tweeted a quotation from The Love Stories, which read: "Sometimes you have to love people from a distance and give them space and time to get their minds right."
Meanwhile, during his speech at Berg's birthday bash, a tearful Ashton admitted: "I've made all these horrendous mistakes in the last year."
A guest revealed: "Ashton's voice started to break as he spoke. He just fell into tears. He sat down to a round of applause while Demi just looked frozen."
The A-list couple split in November, following claims that Ashton had been unfaithful. Demi subsequently checked into rehab after collapsing at her California home.
