Denise Van Outen reveals her Strictly Come Dancing diet plan

Television presenter Denise Van Outen has revealed the extreme lengths that she is willing to go to in her bid to win this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. Denise is taking the competition very seriously and is sticking to a very strict diet to make sure she is in the best possible shape for the show.
 
 
Van Outen explained, “Before I had my daughter, Betsy, I’d often skip breakfast then eat muffins and croissants to keep me going. All that changed when I wanted to get pregnant. I decided I couldn’t run on empty any more. Now I’m in Strictly, I need energy more than ever. I’ll usually have porridge for breakfast – a big bowl with lots of berries as well.”
 
She added, “Once I get to the studios for rehearsals, I tend to have a latte for an energy boost. Throughout the day I drink a lot more water than usual and eat fruit like melon and grapes, which naturally have a lot of water in them as well. I take my own lunch to training, which is usually some hummus, pitta bread and plenty of salad – or some pasta for energy.”
 
 
Denise continued, “I try to have something sensible for dinner – baked potatoes are fast and easy to do. I used to have them with tuna for a quick meal when I was at theatre school and I still turn to them for a quick dinner after a long day. One thing I’d love is some advice for slow-release energy foods. I feel that my body needs something extra at the moment.”
 
So any diet expert that wants to help Denise Van Outen out, just let us know of any slow-release energy foods that you think she would enjoy. We did not realise how serious the celebrities took Strictly Come Dancing, it seems like too much hard work.
